Agreement
Cheewawa is published at cheewawa.com by HOX Media. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site. Questions go through the contact form.
This is not veterinary advice
Nothing on this site is a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified veterinarian. Our health articles explain what veterinary and breed organizations say and help you recognize when something needs attention. They cannot examine your dog, and no article here is tailored to an individual animal.
If your Chihuahua is unwell, contact your own veterinarian. In an emergency, contact an emergency veterinary service immediately rather than reading an article first. Never delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read here.
Accuracy and corrections
We check health and behavior claims against primary sources and link them so you can read the same material. We still get things wrong sometimes, and veterinary guidance changes. Articles are published in good faith without any warranty that they are complete, current, or error-free. Spotted a mistake? Tell us — corrections ship fast.
AI use and images
We use AI tools in drafting and research, with a named writer responsible for what publishes. Illustrations inside articles are AI-generated and captioned as such beneath the image. Featured photographs at the top of articles are real photographs, licensed and credited to their photographers. Our About page explains this in full.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Ads may be served by third-party networks that use cookies and similar technologies; what they collect and how to opt out is covered in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We do not let advertisers decide what our articles say, and an ad appearing next to an article is not an endorsement of the advertiser by us, or of us by the advertiser.
Content and reuse
The articles, layout, and branding on this site belong to HOX Media unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a visible link back to the article. Republishing whole articles, or using them to train models or populate another site, is not permitted without written permission.
Photographs credited to third parties remain the property of their photographers and are used under the licence named in the credit line. If you hold rights to something here and believe it is used incorrectly, contact us and we will fix or remove it.
Links to other sites
We link to veterinary organizations, breed clubs, rescues, and news reports so you can check our sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
Comments and submissions
Comments are moderated. We remove anything abusive, spammy, or promotional, and we may close comments on any article. Anything you submit, you confirm is yours to share, and you give us permission to display it on the site.
Liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, HOX Media is not liable for any loss, injury, or harm to you or an animal arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top always shows the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept the update.
